Korean online bookseller?

#1
Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of a good site to buy Korean books online (and that will ship to Japan)? I found this site:

http://www.hanbooks.com/

but the selection is a bit small, the shipping outside of North America rather steep, and I reckon there's probably a sizeable markup on the prices. I'm assuming a site that ships from Korea would probably be a bit cheaper.

http://www.yesasia.com is usually good for Japanese/Chinese/Korean stuff. The focus is on movies but there are a bunch of books (I used to buy Japanese novels from there, until I found Kinokuniya). Note: If the Korean support is like Japanese, then you should probably only enter titles in Korean, not romanized Korean, their Japanese uses a really weird romanization, which is full of mistakes, but if I enter titles in Japanese, everything's fine.

I can recommend Yes24. Books are really cheap (especially compared to hanbooks.com) and they ship most stuff outside Korea. And best of all, you don't need a 주민등록번호 to register with them.

Thanks to both of you for chiming in. It looks like while YesAsia has some Japanese books, they don't sell Korean books.
Yes24 appears to be just what I'm looking for. Now I just have to figure out how to navigate the site without being able to read a lick of Korean Smile

Thanks again!

Can anyone tell me if there are any services that will buy items for you and ship them to your address? I don't know what they're called in English. Thanks

I have bought White Rabbit Press products, but I've never used their Express service, so this is strictly an example: http://whiterabbitexpress.com/

EDIT: you want them to ship to Japan so it's kinda irrelevant

I recommend aladin because you can get free shipping in the USA if you buy enough. Also you can buy used books which are cheaper

I've actually bought from aladin and I recommend it. The hard part is finding a good book to read

Here is the Reddit link

I was the one who commented like crazy and got books for about five dollars a piece

By the way Korean books are REALLY HEAVY
