Hello All,

I am planning to subscribe japanesepod101 ( https://www.japanesepod101.com/ )
Anybody have joined recently or in the past? Which plan is better (Premium or Premium Plus).
Any idea on what level of JLPT do they cover?
Good and bad points about the course will help me to take decision.

宜しくお願いします。

I have joined in the past and I like it.
They cover from JLPT 1 till 5 in my opinion.
I really like the Japanese dialogs(you get the japanese scripts as well as a premium member) and the line by line audio.
I do not really like the banter between the dialogs which is in English most of the time.(However at JLPT 1/2 level, more Japanese is spoken). Personally I would like it to be full on in Japanese even for JLPT lvl 5/4 and such.

Personally I would not take the Premium Plus, I do not see the added value in that.

Also as a premium member you can download unlimitedly (lets say you can download a lot of lessons in one month Wink )

Thanks for the feedback. If they are covering all JLPT levels then sounds reasonable. (About $120 for 24 months)
There is considerable difference between premium and premium plus. Premium looks better option if there are not much added value.

Which promotion are you looking at with the $120 /24 months?

AFAIK, currently they are running "Take the Challenge" promotion 45% off Premium and 37% off Premium PLUS for 12-Months plans.

Their targeted JLPT courses only cover levels 5-3. Other than that, they have advanced audio blog series, in which you're certainly going to find more advanced grammar points or vocabulary, but these are not JLPT-specific podcasts. So if you're looking for podcasts with JLPT content specifically, that's going to be levels N5-N3. When you register for free, you can see all the courses they offer (and listen to the first 3 lessons of each season, if I remember correctly), so you can see for yourself what they have on the menu.
