BUMP

Sorry to request for help on this again but have had no response from skinnyneo.

Is anyone able to give me access to this sheet- pretty, pretty please.  Only 54 days to JLPT and this would really be of big assistance to me.

I'm thinking of getting this book also. Is the access to spreadsheet active?

This is why these secret "mail me a picture of the book" things never sit right with me. Mailing someone a picture of the book doesn't make it any more legal and keeping it locked down just ensures that once access and activity falls off, the resource eventually disappears.

Same here.

I just purchased the book (to both read on the train and get access to this spreadsheet), and if anyone has it, I would be more than grateful.

Moreover, I'll throw it together into a separate Anki deck so that people who just want to get to studying can just import it and add it to their already active JLPT deck.

That'd be great. I don't understand why there isn't a deck for it already. Spreadsheets kinda get on my nerves cos sometimes they take a bit of fidgeting to import them the way you want.

Theres another spreadshit of this available that you don't have to jump through hoops for you know. There's also all the sentences typed up already waiting for a big copy and paste a few delimiters and a big import. Holy crap I just realised I could probably do it that way!

Not 100% on sure how I would import it spreadsheet-wise, but I'm sure it's not that hard.

In any case, link me to the easy access sheet, I'll surely have it done by Saturday for everyone.

Lol.. I've always though a spreadsheet is better than a deck as it is more flexible. You can import it to Anki however you like. It is not like importing a from spreadsheet takes any skills..

I'm having trouble importing this into Anki. I saved the file as a csv but Anki chokes when trying to load it. Making things worse I don't have a spreadsheet program that I can use to load the file and fiddle with it. (I just upgraded my open office and lucky me, there is a bug in the spreadsheet module installer ...)

Is the an Anki deck for KM2? If not does anyone know how I can transform the csv file from Google docs into something Anki can import? I'm happy to use vi to massage the file if that's what is needed.

I don't have a spreadsheet progam either so I have to highlight it all on google docs and past it into notepad then format it as needed.

One thing Anki does not like is the wrong text encoding. It won't be able to import it if the file is using the wrong text encoding.

mezbup,  have you ever tried open office?  open office is a free program with word-like and excel-like software.  Completely compatible with microsoft office, but is independent of Microsoft.  You can download it from openoffice.org.  This may allow you to have an easier time with spreadsheets.

Hi guys!  Sorry I have been so absent.  I am pretty sure that I have gotten to every request so far that I have received.  If you don't have access yet please please PM me again with a link to the picture of your book (maybe even include your email written on the on a piece of paper or something if you could) so that we can keep this legal.

Also I am thinking on that subject that maybe we should move the Kanzen Masters 1kyuu and the Unicom parts of the spreadsheet onto new spreadsheets, and if somebody wants to they can keep track of giving out access to them.  Would anybody be interested in doing that?

Also I will edit the first post of this thread with access instructions.

I'm not sure if skinnyneo is absent again.  I did PM him, but no response yet.  I've just started typing the sentences in, but the spreadsheet or deck would help me a lot.  I can take a photo of my book (with whatever note you want) and email it to you.  If anyone can help me out please send a PM.  Thanks!

I added you a few days ago.  You still can't access it?  I have tried to invite you again.  You should get a page access mail from google at the email address you PM'ed me.

Send me a private message with your email address and a picture of your book with your email written on a piece of paper on it and I can give you access to the google spreadsheet.

What ever happened to the level 1 spreadsheet? Has anybody gone through the level 1 book, and if so, how was it?

I'm trying to decide if I should buy the book and/or go through it... Despite not taking, and won't take, the JLPT test, I found the level 2 book layout to be pretty nice and easy to absorb.

I think the level1 spreadsheet was split off into a separate file, since people were getting access to the 1kyuu info by showing ownership of the 2kyuu book.

Was it ever completed, and/or how is the level 1 book?

It was complete but not fully error checked if I recall.

Yeah, I did split them off.  I personally don't have the 1級 books so I can't really mine it with anybody but if somebody would want to take it on then I'll make them the owner of it.  I hope to have that book also maybe in the next month and wouldn't mind help mining it.

I bought the level 1 book, and I'll send a picture when I come across my USB cable again. I went to the store to take a look at the book, and I was surprised to see that I actually knew a fair bit of the grammar. To me that was a good thing, because I had heard a lot of the level 1 grammar was all kind of weird/not used very often.

I'm still not done with the level 2 book, but I find it pretty useful. I know almost zero grammar rules in Japanese, but the book seems to have a perfect number of examples. It's enough examples to be able to recognize it in the wild later, but small enough that I can casually un-suspend a few sections here and there.

Hopefully level 1 will be just as good! It seems funny studying from a JLPT book, without the intent to take the test, but the kanzen master books have been the only textbooks I've actually liked so far.

Have the level 1/2 books helped other people, JLPT or not?

Hi everyone!
I've taken a picture of my Kanzen master 1kyuu/2kyuu books, but I don't have a space to upload it to. If someone could send me an e-mail, I could attach the picture in my reply, so that I can get access to the spreadsheet. I was hoping to start mining that thing today! smile

Thanks!

You can upload a picture to imageshack for free, then send the link in the message through the forums. That's what I've done, and will do once I get around to taking a picture of book 1...
