I know it was a question about anki, but no one on the google site would answer after I waited a week.  there are plenty of other anki questions so I don't see why it's a problem..  could you atleast email me the last responses?

In my opinion there are many anki questions that are better suited to this forum than to the google group. They are very different mediums, with very different communities. Worth considering...

agreed, ours are sometimes very specific, and this community can handle them better.

However if your question is a tech support one, its still better suited for the Google group; not here. Keep posting or bumping your thread on the group till someone responds.

This is the message that should have appeared when you submitted the topic:

Please note that Anki has a dedicated forum at http://groups.google.com/group/ankisrs

All technical / troubleshooting Anki topics MUST be posted on Anki's own forums!

Topics about learning with Anki (eg: decks, review schedules and so on) are welcome in
the Learning resources forum.

This isn't a software support forum.

Questions that relate to setting up Japanese flashcards or decks for Anki never get deleted, they are potentially interesting to all Japanese language learners, whether they use Anki or not.

Otherwise unfortunately Anki topics tend to be rather technical and not really helpful even to other Anki users as there seems to be an endless supply of such questions.
