Hi guys,

A long time ago on this forum, someone posted a hilarious photo of a young white guy in bed with a geisha-esque Japanese woman while her scary-looking angry husband is walking in the doorway. I need it for a presentation I'm doing soon but can't seem to track it down. If anyone has a copy or knows where I can find it, I'd be very appreciative.

Thanks!
Seth

Nevermind, found it! This can safely be deleted. Sorry!

That's the picture that you want to use for "arrival" - .

Yes, it's hilarious and memorable smile

A quick question for the experts: What do the characters on the hanging scroll say?

After some guessing and googling, I turned up with this, or some variations thereof:
行文简浅顕 做事诚平恒

Best explanation I could find: http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/ynm0/62609786.html
According to that, it's originally by a Dǒng Qíchāng. I have no idea if that's correct or what it means, though.

I thought that on your page they selected:
行文簡淺顯 做事誠平恒

for which Google Translate gives:
"Language of simple plain things, Cheng Ping Heng"(?)

or (just playing silly with Google):
"Drafting simple and obvious things to do with permanent level of sincerity"(???)

Aha, Chinese... I thought as much. I must say I admire your ability to read the mystic brushstrokes. Now that you have typed out the characters I actually recognize most of them and can even guess at the meaning.

Cheers

PS Sadly,  nothing it seems to do with the scenario at hand unless the Chinese verse referenced is about cheating foreigners and faithless partners.

(Of course the couple in bed may really be a couple.... and  the man coming in a friend, interrupting at an inopportune moment smile )

Yeah, i thought exactly the same thing! I guess this is because I had a Japanese partner for several years though...
