Hey, thanks for the donation.

Well, I just sent my donation  smile, And to be honest, I didn't think you guys would make my 2nd challenge because I thought the members where all out of money.  Wow, I guess with my 50€ and the other 15€, it's only fitting to say we have raised 1515€ so far for our lovely RTK creator.  So that's over 3x our original goal.

If we can get to 1600€ by new years eve that would be the icing on the cake.

€Change anyone... tongue

I've used SCIENCE to figure out that by xmas ファブリス will be a gangster rapper, and we'll have raised over €1700!!!

Keep up the good work everyone, let's make this ファブリス's merryest xmas ever!

With one BIG push, it's perfectly possible to hit the 1700 mark before the end of the month.

That would be pretty nuts ^_^

wait, but, who's new year counts?

such a great result!!!

Heya IceCream!

Good question -- I'm guessing whichever piece of land that is furthest West, such as Hawaii? ...since their New Year is pretty late compared to the rest of the world and if someone there were to donate, it would still be counted.  But whether someone in Europe can still donate when it's still 2010 for Hawaii may be another matter altogether...

I suppose as long as wulfgar doesn't propose another challenge and it's not a time-sensitive matter, we may not have to worry about that though XD

I think as long as it's donated from this drive, it will count to the christmas challenge.

As the creator of this thread, it is up to me to decide. (demonstrating leadership here!)

Actually, wulfgar and I already decided it's CST (UTC/GMT -6 hours)

This is our Countdown to the Donation New Year:

http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/newyear.html?p0=265

Thanks to all the new donations, thank you wulfgar!

Let's hit the €1,600 - we can do it - only €65 to go!

Canada's Time doesn't exist, there are 6 time zones, and I live in Canada, so if I donate at midnight my time, it wouldn't count, since I live in Pacific time (UTC -8 hours)

Oh well

Of course I know that. That's why I wrote CST (UTC/GMT -6) and included the countdown link.

I think that's pretty clear.

I'm correcting your Label of "Canada Time"  since that's the wrong label, in case anyone reading this assumes that it's correct, and pointed out mine would be late to drive the point home.

The Hawaiians should be happy to live in such a beautiful place and just get over it...

Or donate earlier.

With that said - you should feel sorry for me because I have to get up at 7AM on January 1st to officially close this donation run!

About the time, I live in Manitoba so CST was used.

Also, there will be no more challenges b/c my extra money has been used up tongue.

To tell you the truth, I'm glad when this is over... It's been fun, but I'm starting to tire...

Anyway - still a laughable €65 from new target - and don't count on wulfgar! you're grownups now, time to stand on your own feet!

OK, so here is my last challenge... Wulfgar's all or nothing extravaganza 3.0:  If you guys reach €1900.00 by the end of this fund-raising event (DEC 31 11:59 CST -6GMT), I will donate 101€ to get us over the 2000€ mark. This is your toughest challenge yet, But to put this into perspective all you need is ~18 people donating 20€ each = ~365€ needed to reach it.  And I know there are a ton of people who use this site.  So, the ball is back in your court.  Good luck.

It's 6:30 am here and I'm going to bed tongue.

Thank you my friends it was fun! This is what we achieved:

€1,535 / $2,032.95 / £1,1285.19 / 170,078円

Not bad, not bad at all!

Over €1500 is a really great result! Thanks to everyone who donated and to truando, Nuriko and wufgar for all the encouragement and for not tiring (or in wufgar's case, giving up all his holiday earnings!).

I hope this gives you a bit of financial stability for at least a little while ファブリス and allows you to treat yourself to something cool like an iPad 2. Please don't feel like you have to use the money (or anything you get with it) for improving the site, I think everyone will agree that the donations are a gesture of gratitude to you and come with no expectation. Spend it on what you want, not what you think we want!

Happy new year everyone, this fantastic community effort has let me enter 2011 with a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside (although that might be last night's curry). 頑張りましょう!
