Does anyone have a list of the spanish keywords, listed by number?

None publicly that I'm aware of, unless someone's obtained permission from the translator of that edition (see also this post on the subject).

Hi, Laura! Let me answer your question even though it's a bit old. The spanish translators allowed the use of their keywords in a free tool called KanjiGym (programmed in Java) that you can download from their page (I think it also has german keywords).
Here is the link: http://www.nipoweb.com/trabajos/libros/kanjigym.htm

The program has all the keywords by number, and it works quite simmilar to this page. New features are that it allows you to practice the drawing of the kanji in the flashcards (something I would love to see here), and also that it includes the stroke order for nearly every kanji. Downsides are that keywords cannot be adjusted at your liking and that stories seem to be stored on the exec, so I don't know how to share them.

I have the line that you have to add in prefs.js to have all keywords in spanish, you can contact with me if you want that line. I made it yesterday with software for making macros an a list that i made months ago... it is easy to do.

Copyright violation alert! Pcsl88, so generous of you, but please, DON'T DO THIS! It's going to get you, me, Fabrice and the whole website into trouble. usis35 (who could be someone hired by the publishing house, for all we know), buy the book and, assuming the aim is to use it on this site, download the script and punch in the keywords one by one.

For reference, see the discussion in the Substitute keywords thread, starting at reply #22 (as already pointed out by Kieron):

woelpad, the most practical use of custom keywords as far as I am concerned will be to allow non-english users to enter keywords from non-english versions of RTK. Unless I get the authorization of the respective authors for the translations, I can not allow users to share lists of non-english "official" RTK keywords through the website.

Your script shouldn't allow this either, because inevitably this will lead to people sharing lists of the keywords from the non-english versions of RTK. I already received an email from the author of the German version asking me to "refrain" from using the german keywords without express permission... so please be responsible about this. If you need more details contact me by email.

I was perhaps a bit too forceful there, but it had the intended effect. I have actually nothing against you distributing a tool to simplify the process of updating the prefs file (could be handy to copy your own stuff to other computers you use), it should just not contain any sensitive data. Don't share your list under any form or pretext.

I got authorization from the translator into spanish to share that file. Can I put it here now?

You have to add this line into the file "prefs.js". It is located in the profile folder. Don't overwrite it, if you do, you will lost your preferences.

Don't forget to put your nick in this page where the string "pcsl88" is. I guess it only appears one time.

Enjoy it wink .

One Question,

I've been using the 'personalized keywords' greasemonkey script to write the spanish keywords, but also to change some keywords I didn't really like (like switching 村 and 町), I've entered 1200 keywords, so looking for all changes I made would take a while. If I add this line, will it overwrite my changes? Ugh.

Then, you have to edit your actual line and not add a new one.
You have to find a line that starts with:"user_pref("greasemonkey.scriptvals.http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7118/Kanji.." and add after the last word and before " "); " the keywords from #1200 up to #2042. In your case it would start with "%201200%20Freir"....

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but is the translator the current copyright holder, or does the publishing company now hold the copyrights? Only the copyright holder can legally authorize reproduction, as far as I know.

I'm not a lawyer (my sister is, I could ask her if it really mattered), but spanish copyright laws work different than in US. The author can't lose all rights, for example. My first guess is that we shouldn't worry because we are not reproducing pages of the book.

Marc, for example, needed Dokan's permission to put into his web scans of that maganize in which he wrote japanese lessons (and you cannot redistribute these lessons), but he then reused those lessons in "Japon?s en Vi?etas" (changing some texts and pictures) and as far as I know, he hadn't to pay any fee to Dokan.

I've found a mistake on your file. "Indignaci?n" should be "Indagaci?n". I would have informed you through a private message, but it seems that this function is disabled on these forums.

Pcsl88, you have another email waiting in your in- or spambox...

So the word is out that I've gotten permission to include the Spanish keywords from Kanji para Recordar I directly in my script (yey). I have Pcsl88's list, but to minimize the number of errors, I'd like a second list from someone who did not use Pcsl88's and did not personalize the keywords too much. Strip it out of your prefs.js file and send it to me by e-mail. Thanks in advance.

Please don't use uppercase on your keyword list except when required. Marc Bernabe used uppercase to mark certain keywords that are used only on names (Edificio, Alto...) and Pcsl88's list hides that.

I will check soon that words that you told me and will send to you.

Pcsl88's feedback made me realize that there are actually several editions of "Kanji para recordar I". I found the errata lists for the three editions and compiled the following list.

No keyword modifications between the 1st and 2nd edition. The only keyword in red is
190 relajacion
but that modification is consistent among the three editions.

List of keyword modifications between 2nd and 3rd edition (accents omitted for better legibility):
499 rumor explicacion
1122 caramelo confite
1908 explicacion interpretacion

Changes similar to the ones made for the 5th edition of the English RtK.
