Oh yes of course. What I want to write is Guardian Angel.
I have found "Guardian" and "Angel" as words alone. And "Guardian Angel" as a phrase. And they are not the same... So that makes me think its surely not correct.

So anyone can help me out?

Yeah, 守護天使 is correct.

The Japanese Wikipedia article shows it to correspond with the concept you're going for.

For a 100% you should Ask Magamo (tm) (name of another thread)! But I think it's not really necessary here.

EDIT: the other guardian was 保護者 (protector, patron).
