Hi All

Just a quick suggestion for a forum update.

When you click on the link in the mail telling you a new message has been posted to a subscribed thread, would it be possible to somehow mark where you were up to before?

I quite often end up re-reading old (and probably missing new) posts because I don't know where I left off before.

If you look at how IMDB does it, by adding a border around the first new post you'll (possibly) get the idea.

Assuming you've posted in the thread, you could just goto "view your posts" and click on the "new posts" link, that will take you to the first new post since you last read the thread.

Whenever you log into the forum you should see a link in the top left, under "Last Visit", it says "Show new posts". Clicking these posts take you to the first unread post in each thread. Only problem in PunBB is that once you have been browsing the forum for a few minutes the "Show new posts" link is no more available, so I usually open it in a different TAB to check new posts at my leisure.

Works great, I didn't see this because I was just staying logged in all the time LOL.

Any way that functionality can be added to the subscription notification mails?
