Hello! I'm a newcomer to this site; I decided to join after I realized what a help this community will be to my RtK learning experience.
I have 2 questions about the flashcard system. First, I haven't used SRS before to facilitate my Kanji learning, and I'm almost to 500 kanji. Is it better to dump them on all at once, or add one lesson per day?
Second, how are the kanji numbered? I have Heisig's 6th edition with 2200 kanji, and I was wondering if the flash card system matched my edition, or the edition with 2042. (Not sure which addition is "better"; I just got the newer one because the price was cheaper on Amazon).
Thanks for your time!

Hello!
About the first question, it depends: if you dump them all at once, the range of which kanji you can be tested on will be greater than if you add lesson by lesson. If you think you're up to it then do it. (I also like this site's algorithm better.)
About the second question, check out this thread:

In short it matches the old editions numbers, but there's a table of conversion for the 6th edition there (since the new numbers are kanji that can be found in RTK3 or in RTK1 supplement).
Good luck on the kanji way.
