So I found something pretty interesting. Throughout the Legend of Zelda series, there have been several versions of the Hylian alphabet, making up all the written signs and stuff you see throughout the games. One of them is based off Japanese phonetics, another one is directly translatable to kana, and another one is directly translatable to English. If I didn't feel like it would confuse my current language study, I would probably throw them in an Anki deck just so I can someday say that I can read Hylian. It would impress some people anyway...
