I am trying to study Japanese Kanji using the Heisig method, using the book in conjunction with Anki and the corresponding deck that can be downloaded. I find myself often wondering what stroke order I should have used, and then I have to either look up the animation on the iOS app for Heisig’s book, or use Kotoba, which is a free app for the iOS which also shows animated kanji. I have even caught myself by accident writing the wrong stroke order even though I was convinced I am doing it right. So how do I verify that my stroke order is correct in the most efficient way? How can I make sure that I am not repeating the wrong stroke order over and over again without having to double-check tediously every single kanji I am reviewing?

There is a solution! There is a font out there that displays the stroke order for your kanji which is free to download. All you need to do is install the font and use it in Anki and you are set!
