Portal is a bit overrated, despite me liking it. I've also played and beat Portal 2 about 3 times.

Whether or not Portal is overrated, it's fantastic value for *free* and I would recommend it to everyone. It's not a long game and it has much that is delightful in it. I do not think, however, that I learnt any physics at all while playing it.

Yeah I was going to edit my post indicating it's great for the price of free. If you haven't endured thousands of stupid cake jokes from annoying fans of the series, then you'll enjoy it even more.

You don't even need to make it a break from learning Japanese, do you? I'm pretty sure you can activate Japanese subtitles for all dia/monologues in the game. No Japanese VA though, unfortunately. (this is going by what I've seen of Japanese doing 実況プレー of Portal 2, my comp can't handle any modern games)

Ah yes, I totally forgot that this is possible! Thanks for reminding me. Even the advertisement turned to Japanese now. I only wish I could remember the account under which I registered The Last Remnant, since it would be a real delight to be able to play this one in Japanese. And I know that it offers Japanese Audio and Text.
