You mean you're going to choose what you feel to be the best story among all available ones, for each kanji where Heisig doesn't provide one ?

I'm not sure it's such a good idea, since the "best" story is highly subjective, this work is likely to be useful mainly to you yourself. For example some people seem to favor play of words while others abhor them.

Nevertheless, any attempt at sorting out the mess (no offense) of user supplied stories is a step in the right direction IMHO. For each story there are 10 duplicates where only the choice of words differs. And some make downright no sense. A good clean-up would be beneficial for everyone.

I will definatelly do my best to show that i take no credit for the stories and can link to the study area or something, but linking directly to the place of the exact story will take too long. If in the end my thread is deleted before it is finished so be it, at least i gave it a shot. Hopefully my interpretation of the licence thing is correct. I guess i will know when i start.
