Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is great fun and has Japanese Subtitles available for all ten episodes.
If you can find 'Antique' (or is it La Patissiere Antique?) that was fun and a little different, although the final episode was anticlimactic for me, the journey was great.
Also I'll echo Nodame no Cantabile and Hotaru no Hikari as great dramas (not so much Hotaru2, which was enjoyable but not great.) I believe Japanese subtitles are available for both of them, they are widely recommended dramas.
Of the currently airing dramas, I highly recommend 'Ikemen desu ne'. It's very understandable and very well acted, and has more complexity to the plot than -just- the love triangle, though it does have that too. I don't think Japanese subs are available yet.
(Of course, I also think you only need a handful of dramas with Japanese subs anyway.)
I also have to admit that I'm enjoying Arakawa Under the Bridge a whole lot, but I can't recommend it to anyone looking for language practice as it's chock full of eccentric characters with eccentric speech...
