We're having one hell of an earthquake at the moment. A 5 'strong" where I am, and even stronger up north. One disturbing thing is the aftershocks which are almost continuous and varying in intensity. It's quite frightening.

Scared the poop out of me. I am sick today, so no work. I don't even want to think about what it would be like on a moving train in the subway during that, or sitting there waiting for the train to get the OK to move.
Additionally, work is on "the death" floor (4th floor in Japan). That would have scared the poop out of me big time (I got some mails before, and everyone is ok.) One of the rare high buildings in this area.
Anyway, looks OK from what I am seeing on TV. A few Tsunamis here and there, some issues with small fires, and so on, but Japan is ready for this. Japan was born ready for earthquakes, lol.
Seriously, though, unless you're in Ibaraki, everyone is probably ok (and even there are no negative reports.)
You know, considering the earthquakes in New Zaland, in Christchurk, are pretty huge news here because of the number of Japanese lost, this is sort of bad timing for people.
