For those that want to input Pimleur sound clips into Anki, here's a good method.

Get Audacity (free audio splitting program)
Load Pimsleur lesson
Analyze for silence (-25db, 2 sec split, .3 seconds before audio)

What'll happen is it'll tag the silent spots 0.3 seconds from each sound portion. You can then highlight and save the selected portion. Save the question and answers as something like: Pimleur I-01 Q01, Pimsleur III-03 A13 which you then can enter in the hiragana answer on a spread sheet to keep track.

I tried this but couldn't seem to get it to work - it only tagged the very front of my selection (meaning - once only) that I chose to analyze the silence.  Am I doing something wrong?

Anyone know if it's possible to get words on iknow up to 100% without having to actually study them? I have no intention of using iknow to study (the method is too slow and it's overkill imo) but it would be nice to use the lists and just tag words that I already know.

There isn't a quick way now, but I can see the developers allowing a way to "tag" a card as 100%. Most likely this would be done via the API when you upload a word list.

Certainly those that have done KO, or Genki don't need to redo and waste time on words they pretty much know, so this is a great suggestion.
