"Due cards" are not as frequent...?

I am on frame 957, and I find that I have less and less cards to review every day. Is this normal? I mean I was reviewing like 150+ cards a day before, and now I am doin about 50 a day. Is this a bug, or does this have to do with my progress?

If you do an equal number of cards every day than it is weird as it should increase every time. However if you do different amounts each day, particularly if they are largely different, than it is possible and the distribution will work itself out.

I think it's just the spacing of the SRS.  Each time you 'pass' a card, it gets put into the next pile and each successive pile takes longer for it to be due.  It helps to promote long term memory.  So the 4+ review pile won't be due for a while.

It doesn't sound like a bug to me.  It just sounds like many of your older cards are now being spaced very far apart, and recently you haven't been adding cards super-quickly, so the number is going down rather than up.  Time going by makes for less reviews; adding new cards makes for more reviews.  If the balance goes one way or the other your number of reviews will vary in that direction.

sounds normal to me. I added a huge patch of production cards(new cards). But I want back to 30 new per day. I usual have 100-150 and sometimes 320 reps. It goes on and off. Eventually the srs will work it down to 200

Hey again,

  Thanks for all the responses. I have been adding 50 cards a day, and that has not changed for the past 30ish days. I do not add cards on the weekends. Anyhoo, I guess I will just have to be patient and let the cards mature in my brain instead of reviewing them when they are not due.

   I just feel that there are some newer cards that I should have reviewed a while ago that have not popped up again.

   BTW... today I reach 1000 characters (completed in 30 days)... A little congratulations? : )
