Two years ago, on this day, an old lurker started his first posting asking for a rare deck he found in a long-defunct forum (using Google cache or archive.org's wayback machine!)

Just six hours later, the revolutionary learning tool, sub2srs, was born, and a new age of enlightenment has dawned:

On this occasion, I would like to thank all the great programmers here who contribute in so many ways for the benefit of the whole community (cb4960, resolve, and not to forget Fabrice and all the other people who devote big chunks of time to help us).
Note: To be honest, I must admit that I never used subs2srs nor Anki or even Heisig seriously! but I really appreciate their power and usefulness, hoping that one day I will have the time to use them.
(Today, I'm going to the Middle East for one month, anyone know how is the speed of internet over there?)

Blahah was very helpful indeed, and so were nest0r, ahibba, buonaparte; and nagareboshi's experiences, story and hints were very useful indeed. Too many people to name and thank: the person that directed me to this forum, fabrice, cb4960, damien... so many I forgot. Just know that I found many stories, comments and inspiring people in this forum and I think that is a major accomplishment.
This forum has taught me that verily a new age of language learning has come.
