So... I started my Nihongo journey learning kanji, which I've gotten pretty damned good at reading but have pretty much completely forgotten how to write. Despite having KanKen level 6 which is something I should be proud of but I feel like i'm almost lying!
I can still write a few hundred kanji but I've focused on listening/reading and speaking. Now that they are all at a level I can live comfortably with.... I feel the burning desire to reconnect with kanji and reignite my KanKen dreams of getting 1.5kyuu! Whilst actually building a true ability to write Japanese.
So this time around seeing as I can speak Japanese and craft sentences in it I thought why not try giving it a go at making some stories in Japanese using the very systematic methodology of starting with Keyword then going in the order that the parts are written.
An example I came up with while playing around are...
じゅん備:
準備
準備の「じゅん」ってさ、三水を古い鳥にかけるじゃん?十ぶんになるまでだ
I found if you can make an image + make it rhyme a little... it's fairly easy to remember just like it is in English! Even if it is fairly non-sensical at times! Same as in English though huh?
I know people have used Japanese keywords n stuff, has anyone done the whole of RTK like this can share any experience tips or pointers?
