I have recently purchased an iPhone while in Japan. I transferred all my apps from my iPod touch, which were all US apps.

Now I want to install several Japanese apps from the Japanese iTunes store, but they don't seem to want to get on my iPhone.

Anyone know how to get around this problem?

Thanks!

it should work. just make sure you log out of your USA account and then log into your japanese account first.

You need to have a different account for each country, registered to a (real or fake) address in that country. I use McDonalds addresses in different countries for my accounts, just for the free apps (USA and Japan).

Then you just sign out of one account and into the other one - you are allowed to have 6 different accounts authorised for one device.

It works for me. I have 3 accounts from 3 different countries.

Guess that'd be useful to get those Kanken level study guides onto your iPhone.
