I'm not sure if this is the right place, forgive me if I am wrong.
The reason for this thread is, I was struggling to find and make myself a list for all german heisig signs.

The list is complete and I wanted it to share with others.
The words will look like this: "english (german)"

Just take the text from the txt file.
Got to Manage -> Import Keywords, and add the text into the box.
Thats it!

Admin: please don't share links to the official Remembering the Kanji translations, unless the respective authors have given their consent.

Would be nice to see other languages as well!

Have fun!

Well I was expecting this.

FYI, neither the French nor the German translation authors were very friendly towards this website. We had a complaint once from the programmer of Kanji Gym lite (unsurprisingly) when someone showed how to extract the keywords from said program.

For the time being please don't post links to keyword lists from the German and French published translations. I will have to edit out the links or delete the posts altogether. I'm not too sure on what grounds they could pursue me seeing as the keywords are hardly the "body" of the works in question; and I could probably get away with it if I didn't care; but I would like to maintain a good relationship with James Heisig who gave me consent to use of the english keywords.

I think sharing lists of the Spanish keywords is safe, given that the author already gave his consent to Woelpad for his Greasemonkey script.

Feel free to PM each other of ask for the keywords if you don't want to type them in by yourself; but please don't post links to direct downloads on this board.

I'm sorry, I didn't want to cause you any trouble! I just wanted to give something back because I'm using this site for a long time already.

If someone wants the list, PM me.

Thanks again for this awesome feature.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for Japanese Keywords? I want to do a second run of RTK, but use Japanese keywords this time around. My plan is to switch to Japanese keywords and then import my deck and stories into anki... if possible.

Thanks for the link! Its a shame this was never finished, it looks very promising. I'll probably use whats done so far and fill in the gaps myself. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Is there anybody familiar with JMDICT here ?

I am wondering if the multilingual JMDICT (big XML file) contains the German keyword set, and perhaps the French one ?
