The subscribe button is very useful. It lets me track threads I'll actively post or update or reply to. In addition, I'm reminded on e-mail if someone posts to it.
However, it's been a long problem that there are useful threads that I'd like to "bookmark" as it were, but without having to get notification whenever there's a post or something on it ie I really only care about the first post's info.
So, a request for a "Liked" option for a thread. It's a mix of the "thread sticky" where we're supposed to post our favorite threads and the "subscribe" option. The link to "like" a thread should be easier to click (top and bottom of thread screens). Then, on the side above "subscribed" threads will be the "liked" threads. It'll display all your "liked" threads just like the current subscribed threads screen.
PS: Yes, I guess I could create a RTK bookmark subfolder but I'd lose out on what it'd be like here (last post, thread title, author, page links, etc.).

Wel /duh me, I never used the "Show subscribed topics" link before
I see that can be quite handy.
I'm sorry I can't afford to spend time on it now, I'm working on Custom Keywords, and RevTH will keep me busy for awhile after that.
Maybe you could configure your email client to archive the forum emails into a different folder, or delete them altogether? I don't remember for sure, you may be able to filter subscribed topics separately from the forum member messages (assuming you enabled the latter).
If you disabled the forum email thing, then I suppose you could use a temporary email to get rid of the notifications? I don't think there are any login details in these emails, so they could be forwarded to mailinator (just an idea, mind, I haven't tried).
