does anyone know the difference between 討つ 打つ 撃つ and 射つ?
^^
And if possible, for every word a simple, short, japanese example sentence.

Thanks a lot!

You can get this information from the IME, but 打つ is the most general kanji, 撃つ is used for guns/missiles/etc, and 討つ means to kill someone (with a sword, etc).  射つ I haven't seen, but presumably it would be used to shoot things with a bow.

射つ is along the same lines as 撃つ and both are used for those long-ranged weapons.

伐つ is another way to write 討つ just for completeness.

Also in compounds they differ quite a bit if you check. 射 Is used in ejaculation as well.
