Hi. =)
First of all, I'm not an English native speaker, so I'm not quite sure if the topic sounds offensive. >_< Anyway, here's an explanation...
I once own a copy of RTK 1 and I wrote down ALL my stories in it, up to frame NO. 1410. (I didn't know about this website back then)
And I lost the book. T__T So now I want some safe place to store and share my stories.
So how safe are the stories posted in this website? I mean if in the future, by any chance, this site is closed. What will happen to the stories? Will there be backup of all the data incase some nasty thing happen to the server ^_^; ?
Thank you. =D

I'm sure we all worry about that a little from time to time, but enough studying and you'll eventually stop needing the stories because you'll have almost all of them internalized.
I'm sure that whoever maintains the server makes proper backups and your stories are safe from hardware failure. It's more a matter of whether the creator of this site eventually decides to scrap this project, which it doesn't look like he will be doing anytime soon.
I am hoping that the site creator does eventually give us a way to export our stories to a text file, just in case this site ever does go away.

I think Fabrice could dump your stories into a text file that you could keep on your own computer if you want. Just wait until he gets back from japan to ask him about it. However, given his plans for the website, you can definitely rely on it staying around for a long while.
I must agree with the other posters though... once you really have a kanji in, you won't need the story anymore. Eventually, with all the reviews, the primitives will just pop up as soon as you see the keyword, so it's not really important to keep track of the old stories.
By the way, what's your native language? We're not all english
I'm a french canadian.
