It may help you lazy Japanese learners, but remember, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink!

Now if only you could link that up to your SRS so it only releases when all reviews are done...

Wait, it's real? I could have sworn that picture was photoshopped.

In Italy there was a famous writer having himself tied to a chair.
Obviously you need a helpful friend when study time is over... smile

Methinks you've got greater issues to address if you require the use of a ball and chain to get done work one wants to have done or needs to have done to obtain the things one desires.

Putting kanji flashcards on top of everything I wanted to do was an okay motivator for me, not to mention that annoying kanji screensaver that'd come up every 3 minutes if I was just staring at the screen.

That doesn't look very motivating...

...It comes with a safety key for emergency deactivation

I wonder what if you lose the key and you are alone.

Wait for the <4 hour exparsion timer I guess. Or call a locksmith.

It's a pity that thing wouldn't stop me from distracting myself with surfing the net and posting on forums when I'm supposed to be doing reviews, like right about now neutral

The ball doesn't sole the problem! I can easily sit at my desk all day, I just can't stop surfing the net. Show me a tool which forces focus

I'm so going to try it and block this site, so I don't read your posts. Oh wait, if I don't read your posts, then that means I have things to block this site, which means I'll have to ...

tongue

(thanks for the add-on name)

I think I need something linked to my SRS. Something like do 20 cards, and unlock my internet for 15 minutes. If there's 0 reviews it unlocks, or something like that.

Actually, you can just make LeechBlock block just the forums. All you have to do is filter forum.koohii.com instead of koohii.com.

I use anki only, but I was thinking it'd be funny to have a feature in anki to kill your internet until your reviews are done!
