I tried donating but ran into problems on your web page.  You have a faded blue rectangle that apparently should be clicked on for total donations.  Total donations? I didn't use it.  Received an error message saying I should click on it.  Some of the information I had previously filled in was now blank.  Filled it in again, clicked submit and there was some other error.  Did I donate or not?  Did I donate twice.  I'm not going to fill in a third time.  I clicked on the big X in the top right corner.   There shouldn't be any problems with donating  -- gee whiz.  Or you can pass this off by thinking, aw he just can't follow instructions.

Hya richcoop,

The donation page is here: http://kanji.koohii.com/about/support

I'm very puzzled by your message: there are no blue rectangles, or "total donations" on this page. Did you click the yellow/gold "Donate" buttons?

The donation itself happens on a secure page at paypal, check the "https". The url starts with https : / / www . paypal . com

What do you mean by "big x in the top right corner", did you close a browser window or a popup?

If there was a popup anywhere, it could be phishing. Do you have an anti virus such as aVast running in the background?

If you think it may have been a phishing attempt I'd recommend to update your PayPal password ASAP and email PayPal customer support about it.

It might have been this:

On the paypal page, there's a blue rectangle "Update Total". The instructions are to click it after entering the donation amount. (I think you're meant to to click it immediately after.)

If you fill in all the address information before clicking "Update Total", all the info entered into the form is cleared in the new window.

It might have been better if that paypal page didn't allow people to complete the form until the button is clicked. Always frustrating having to re-enter stuff.
