Hello,
can somebody tell me how to write:
"fight academy" and "fight team" in Kanji, in the sense of martial arts academy or team?
(my guess would be 軍学院  and 軍隊)

Many thanks in advance!

「軍隊」is a real word, something like "armed force:" a generic term for "navy," "army," etc.

「軍学院」isn't in Yahoo's dictionary, but I know「学院」as "grad school."  According to Yahoo, 「学院」is a synonym for 「学校」, with the nuance of being a private, not public institution.

I'm not good enough yet to offer my own guesses.

Out of curiosity, why?  You're not hoping to get a tat are you?

Don't try to guess words, only use words that you've seen or heard before, and check in a dictionary if you're not sure.

道場 isn't what you are looking for?

The question is a little confusing to me because "fight academy" and "fight team" are unusual English phrases and I'm not sure exactly what they refer to, so it's hard to translate them into Japanese.
