Thanks ファブリス, the new site is great.

I especially like the undo feature, I've bumped the "n" key many times, now I can do something about it!

We all got used to the old site. It's like driving the same car for many years and then make the change to a new one: many of the driving habits (the feel of the pedals, placement of the lights switches, etc, etc) remain for a few days until the new habits start to settle. This site is just like that: the old car received a new and much more powerful engine, and this new car comes equipped with lots of nice extras! wink

Great work, Fabrice! The site has changed in so many positive ways, I'm still exploring it. THANK YOU!

There will inevitably be a few bugs and of course some of the “griping” is valuable feedback. But I’m not here to gripe!

Until discovering this site a couple of months ago via the Kanji Clinic, my time frame for mastering the jouyou kanji was 10~100 years. I’ve now revised my estimate to 6~12 months! Heisig’s RTK1 and this website make an awesome combination.

I was well impressed with the old site. The new site is better still.

Changes I like:
1) Undo button - I occasionally pass a kanji when I meant to fail it.
2) Restudy option - Failed kanji need careful attention. An opportunity to review them randomly before they re-enter the review cycle allows me to check if my story tweaking has really worked.
3) With failed kanji I like to check how many times I failed vs passed. A high fail to pass ratio indicates a story that just isn’t working for some reason. On the old site, once I had navigated to the “study” page, the “fail” page data disappeared (I think?). Now you can return to it again and again until all the failed kanji have been reviewed.
4) Colour scheme and layout in general.

Changes I dislike:
None!

To top it all off, not only is it a brilliant resource, it’s free, ただ、無料 !

I’m living in Japan and have been struggling to make progress. In the last two months I’ve discovered some resources and advice on the web which I think will be really useful to me. When I finally achieve proficiency in Japanese, this website will be on the top of my donation list!

This may be trivial, but on the progress page I like the green bars extending across the page. Very dramatic!

I also like the ability to immediately review cards I've missed.

A great site!
