I noticed on Appshopper that "My Japanese Coach" is on special offer right now, i.e. 115円. Having read strong opinions both for and against it, I was curious to try it out.

In the beginning i didn't think it was necessarily that bad either... but give it time and you will learn to absolutely HATE IT with a vengeance haha

note: i have only used the nintendo ds version but i am assuming the ipod app is the same.

This isn't worth creating a new thread for, methinks. Just curious: What sort of wallpaper are you using for your iDevice? Anything related to Japanese?

Kanji StickyStudy now has some Heisig info: it can be put in RTK1 order and includes keywords and primitive names. The app also has stroke-order animations,  readings, example sentences, Leitner system and other features, so it could be handy for portable learning & reviewing.

To any hard-up Anki fans: AnkiMobile is on sale at the moment, 2,900円 reduced to 1,700円.
