Haha... yeah, you have been able to for a while... I'm interested in how you are thinking of using it though?

At the moment, I'm thinking drama/film (live action so you can appreciate the finer details of nonverbal cues) more than anime, with Q: Video, A: kanji/meaning --video dictation... pretty simple, but for me, the only reason I was using audio/images with subs2srs was because I didn't think you could use video. With video, it's just light years better.... I don't know, still wrapping my mind around it, I have a cpl ideas for 'strategies' rather than tactics, need to process though. Video on iPod, playlists, environmental interaction, different ways of doing the cards......... and of course dialogue call-and-response cards (http://forum.koohii.com/viewtopic.php?pid=67383#p67383) .... *brain explodes*

Also, hardcoded video annotation? I wonder...... (http://forum.koohii.com/viewtopic.php?pid=69707#p69707)

Hmm, as for the call-and-response cards, you can actually have a video on each side, then when you hit f5/replay, it plays them in order, putting the dialogue together....

cescoz, I just read that you're the one who mentioned videos in Anki a few times. Thank you for drawing the attention of the programmer-gods resolve and cb4960 to help make this happen, I was too busy fantasizing about videos in Anki to realize you could already do it.

For the record, I've never watched pr0n before in my life. Also, I am a lifelong master of my domain (if one hasn't seen the corresponding episode of Seinfeld, then that phrase sounds like it means the opposite of what it means).

All this vulgarity leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Some rain will wash it away:

lol I remember (about 10 years before I started actually trying to learn Japanese) that you only needed 3 words to watch hentai without subtitles:

Dame:  Don't.
Yamete:  Stop.
Moto:  More.

And wouldn't you know it, within 30 seconds, the video used all three of those in that order.

Obviously, I know now that there's a little more nuance to the words than that, but it was quite funny at the time.  And I learned them JUST from watching anime!
