@Kainzero:
ok, i thought i'd give an update on this...
The alarm clock is a good alarm clock, as far as that goes. With the intelligent snooze function and learning mechanism, it did start waking me up at the time i was most awake quite quickly. Once i managed to get up at roughly the same time in the morning for a whole 6 days!!!
If i've had a somewhat decent amount of sleep, i do wake up and get out of bed easily with this alarm clock. It doesn't wake you up in the middle of a dream making you want to fall back to sleep again like a normal alarm does, or in the middle of deep sleep leaving you disorientated... which is good.
However, it is a clock, not a miracle worker. The problem is, i still get tired later each night regardless, so after a few days of waking up on time, i am either so tired during the day i have to sleep again after a few hours, or i end up turning it off and going back to sleep or sleeping through it, just like any other alarm clock.
So, while it's good at what it says on the tin, it can't magic away sleep deprivation or make you not feel tired if you are sleep deprived. I guess that shouldn't be so surprising really... but still
