Does anybody know of any Japanese bands that play hair metal like Poison or Motleycrue style music with lots of solos and falsetto and stuff cause I've found lots of good metal bands like Stormrider and Sex Machineguns and that but I haven't really found any hairmetallish 80s bands that sing in Japanese.

Loudness. They even toured with Poison and Motley Crue. I don't know too much about them but Wikipedia says their earlier lyrics are in Japanese but later stuff is in English.

Not exactly hair metal (which I daren't touch with a 10 foot pole, haha), but Galneyrus definitely fits the solos and falsetto part. VERY cheesy at times, but hey, that's what power metal is all about! Think X-Japan + Iron Maiden + Helloween, or... something along those lines.

Thanks for that post, I'll keep my eyes open for them the next time I'm at Book Off. wink

Edit: By the way, are there any good Progressive Rock/Metal Bands out there? Most I found seem to sing in English or, well.. Kobaļan.
