ファブリス, is there any chance of making an API available for RevTK? I was thinking specifically of the story system, since the flashcard setup doesn't need one. Then members could make plugins (e.g. iGoogle, Netvibes, AWN, Gnome-DO, Launchy, Quicksilver etc,) which interface with specific features of the site.

Of course this could be done without an API, but your server load and bandwidth usage would be lessened with an API. Particularly, I'm thinking of a plugin for Gnome-do and AWN which returns the top 3 favourite stories for a keyword, kanji or frame number.

If there were a function (i.e. stories.php?frame=001&num=5) which returned $num of stories for $frame, it could be easily integrated into any external app.

I know you've got plenty of work on your hands, but just thought I'd put it out there.

I was looking for the same thing myself... Every so often I check back to see if this has been implemented...  Not sure if it's on the road map yet or not...

As a programmer I'm always for APIs myself and I think most social web apps would be (or are) improved by implementing one, but I think in this case it would be more likely if some more concrete examples were provided of why one is actually needed....
