Though I'm a long-time Anki user,  I've always used it pretty straightforwardly "out of the box" and am in need of a little help with this.

I downloaded that Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo Anki deck from the other thread (by the way, thanks cb4960) and now I'm trying to generate some production cards out of the recognition ones already in the deck.

So, my idea was to go through all the cards in the deck, deleting those I don't need and marking those I also need as production.

I haven't started yet but from testing it doesn't seem to work as I would like it to.
When manually adding stuff to my deck the production side will be spaced a little while apart from the recognition one but cards generated from the Item Browser seem to share no such connection, they just stay there like any other card and I can only reach them by answering all the other cards before them.

Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks in advance!

New cards are reviewed by creation date.  You can change that in the study parameters, but I'm not sure you'll be able to get exactly what you're looking for.

Choose study cards in reverse of order added, or random.

if you use random mode, all the cards of a fact will be shown close to each other. there's an argument for doing the same thing in ordered mode when cards are generated later - I'll have a think about it.

Thanks :) random mode worked though I liked the correct order better so I ended up doing it that way anyway.
