Finally found chinese program that can change your IME's keyboard layout language.

Just tried it with Chinese google pinyin IME and it works ^^

Select language/ime and then press KeyBoard... You need reststart computer, before it works. Also you need to tick Switch IME, if you wanna use alt+shift. OR you can just made your own hotkeys ^^

Have fun:

It works same way as this registery hack:

So it edits your computer registery, but I think it is safety use.

I have no idea what the intent of this software is... I've always been able to input Chinese/Japanese/Korean/English no problem.

If you default OS laguage is US, then you don't have any problems. But IME always use US as default keyboard and if your keyboard language is another, then you might wanna change IME default keyboard...

@ jarvik7
sometimes (read that: usually) the layout of the IME keyboard doesn't match the layout of your physical layout (for example, when using the IME, the key that has printed "-" on it produces the "/" character, or the key with "ñ" produces ";") which is annoying because either 1) you have to get used to the new layout and touch-type, or 2) change the keyboard layout for your IME, which most people don't like to do because it is, essentially, messing with the registry, and we all know what happens to wndows when you mess around with the registry ^^

edit: it seems yufina beat me to it, and with a clearer explanation, i might add... damn!

I guess it's just a problem for people with non-English keyboards then (AZERTY etc).
