You might be blown away by this too. Here's the WolframAlpha screencasts:

I wonder Japanese stuff might be in future developments...

Pretty neat little site for getting quick calculations. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

Heh, after I saw this post it helped me figure out how to convert 24000kbps into mbps. Something google had failed to do just a few moments earlier.

My brother showed me Wolfram last week. Awesome stuff. Look up some of the easter-eggs online, too smile

The examples they give are very cool, but I played with it a few minutes and 60% of the stuff I searched for was not available. I might have formulated the questions wrong, though.

Amazingly useful and amazingly good looking. Google should be very worried. (Not that this "search engine" will kick out Google's, just that this technology SHOULD have been invented by them)

Well, if it really achieves widespread success Google will just have to buy it ^^

W|A is NOT a search engine, and Stephen Wolfram would never sell his baby to Google.

This is the beginning of a very long project. Naturally, there is much work left. But what we have today is already pretty amazing!

A different kind of search engine perhaps.
