Saving a copy of your stories for off-line use

- Click the export link on the My Stories page (update Nov 2, 2009).
- Save the file with an ".csv" extension (CSV means Comma Separated Values)

Opening the file in Open Office

- Open the file: make sure "Text CSV (*.csv; *.txt; *.xls)" is selected in the "Files of type" drop down.
- Character set: select "Unicode (UTF-8)"
- Separated by: make sure Comma is checked

Notes

- The script also exports corresponding kanji, keyword, last edit date, and public flag (1 means it's publicly shared, 0 means those are your private stories).

- The keywords are the original RtK keywords, the server code can not read keywords edited with the Greasemonkey script(s).

Unsticki'ed because the option is now directly accessible and visible from within the site's My Stories page.

Also see new sticky about CSV exports and how to import/convert them http://forum.koohii.com/viewtopic.php?pid=81160#p81160
