I'm trying to go monolingual at the moment, however I'm having trouble using Yahoo辞書(Which appears to be the most recommended).

The problem is for a few words I have looked up, the readings shown at Yahoo are either wrong or old (or I think big_smile). For example I looked up 後方 here. At Yahoo it tells me あとべ is the reading but after trying to type it with no luck, I checked using rikaichan to be sure. Rikaichan says こうほう(which works).

Now I guess my question is... Is the dictionary wrong or using an old reading? Or am I doing something wrong when looking up the word? It'd be nice if I didn't have to use rikaichan to check...

*edit*
The weird thing is, when looking up the word in the Japanese to English dictionary I get the right reading? here

This. Yahoos dictionary is just way more exact and comprehensive than you're used to wink
