There is this story with 24 reports at the kanji "Toil"
I read it and it is really pukingly groze. Please can someone delete the story?
And everyone who goes read it, please report it.

I would suggest you send a direct message to the author noting the number of reports and suggesting that he/she make the story private instead of sharing it. Personally, I think peer-to-peer community regulation is the best strategy. My assumption is that no one on this site is intending to give offense, but merely to make the most memorable stories possible. BTW, that kanji just came due for one of my reviews and I DID remember it. So it served its purpose for me.

Though I can definitely understand how the more vulgar stories such as this one could offend, I don't believe it would be beneficial to delete stories that could potentially aid in the long and difficult process of learning all these suckers.
This subject has been discussed time and time again in the past, but I think the best compromise would be allowing a "mature" or "adult" tag that the story creator could check, or that would automatically trigger after a number of reports (though personally, I've only ever reported stories that had mistakes in their primitives or so forth, things which could be detrimental to a learner) - then they'd be hidden from view unless you manually expand them or otherwise give consent. Something along those lines. How difficult something like this would be to implement, though, I'm not sure.
But hey, it's a very effective mnemonic device. I starred it. <_<
If a story has 25 reports, there is a pretty good chance it will have something in it "pukingly groze". So why go ahead and read it? Interestingly enough, everytime someone complains about a story, within a few days, it gets like 5 more stars from the attention.

I actually recall seeing that story - not bc of the topic, but bc of this part: "imagine him trying to force her to give me"...
"me"? uh....Freudian slip?

Yeah, uhm, I think by the time I'm done RTK1, I'll have written well over 200 stories which will eventually garner 10-50 reports a-piece. I've gotten a nice bit of inspiration from people who make the process of RTK1 a hell of a lot more entertaining.
I'll be respectable enough to delete any of my stories that receive an insane number of reports with a number of stars I arrogantly deem inadequate, though.

I think perhaps the OP is missing the point.
When you form your first image, your mind will generally be ruled by mere word association with the image running on and off the set like a prop man. The idea is to drag the image to center stage, turn the spotlight on it, and watch what it does when left to its own. You 'coach' it along by focusing on the critical parts (those associated with the written strokes), and then patiently wait, eyes closed, until the little magic lantern in your imagination starts spinning and something odd, ridiculous, disgusting, arousing, or otherwise memorable happens. Only then have words turned to image, and to an image you can trust as a mnemonic. This is a crucial step in the process you are learning here, so be sure and watch it at work.
The above is directly from James Heisig in Remembering the Kana, page 62 in my version (with my own emphasis added). I don't quote it because he's an authority figure, but because what he says is absolutely true.
So, quite frankly, whether or not you're offended by the stories is completely immaterial, and it strikes me as rather selfish that you would want these stories removed (as they are obviously helpful to many people, given the ratings).
