Now, I do realize there's a DS Kanji review games topic that is stickied, but my question is a little different, I think..

I spend quite a bit of time in my day on the bus doing nothing, and quite a bit of my day not learning Japanese (Which is BAD), so I was wondering if anyone knew of any SRS or Flashcard or even something made FOR RtK that works on the DS with use of a flashcart..

Thanks, in advance.

if you have the money, you could always get an ipod touch or something and put the flashcard software "Anki" on it.

Before I got an iPod touch I always just emailed vocab lists to my keitai to study on the train. It's not as good as SRS, but it makes for decent study before you put something into your SRS. (Unlike some others I am not opposed to the use of using vocab lists to study. You don't learn how to use the word, but you'll know it the instant you see it in context. They worked good enough to get me nearly 百点満点 on JLPT2 anyways.)

NDSRS is indeed the one! http://digital-haze.net/ndsrs.php

I'm not a huge fan of the UI, but it's quite functional as an SRS and you'll likely get used to its interface quickly.

Is there a way to increase the font size on NDSRS? I have a script that generates a deck, but it is terribly small. Any ideas?

throw a size argument in the tags.

<question size="20">question goes here</question>
works with answer tags too.

Hey guys, the NDSRS format is kind of stupid looking, don't you think?
Don't you wish you could easily export all those spreadsheets that have been going around the net?
Would you like to have multi-platform lists with NDSRS and Anki (etc)?

If you said yes to any of these questions, you should download NDSRS Tools!
I don't remember where I got it from, or all the features, but it comes with an "instruction manual" more or less (ndsrs.pdf)

You can change font size in this little tool before you import:

Is there a way (or any plans) to synch this with anki?

I started something like that a few months ago, quickly abandoned it since I couldn`t get sqlite to work on my ds.

I might pick it back up over the summer when I have nothing else to do.

I use my NDSRS to review my Heisig!  Send me an e-mail if you want my SRS files - I have them divided up into 100s, and also 300s (for both RTK1 and RTK3).  The font is as big as possible for the characters.  I think it's pretty great, saving paper, and using the touch screen means you can practice writing - which is great especially if you have a larger stylus for handwriting!
