The idea of sentences, reading and listening is probably already known for centuries. But only for a short amount of time in the history of mankind we had internet and ipods.

What I find most bizarre is that fact that I was in full-time education for fifteen years and never heard anything about SRS. Nobody I know has heard of it and it seems to be restricted to a tiny number of users. This, despite it being the most useful learning tool I've ever come across. It's as though it's so useful that the people who use it don't want others to enjoy the benefit, lest they bridge the gap.

I try to preach SRSs everywhere. But people don't buy it. "It's not for me" they say.
