This kanji came up today...

...and I got it wrong.

That didn't feel so bad until...

...I looked and noticed my mnemonic was at the top of the list with 52 votes!

I have both the most reported[by far] and a tied #3 for most stars one one of my stories.

Also consider Nukemarine's story for favor -- almost 200 votes

I remember reading in someone's RTK profile: "If your story isn't reported, it's not memorable enough"

My most starred one was also reported and eventually removed. It had sexual references, but wasn't written in a vulgar way...

I used your story Raichu and I could remember the keyword from the kanji when reading this thread! It's a good story!

Thanks.

But it's a bit embarrassing if you provide a story that's turns out easy to remember and then get it wrong...

Yeah, I missed "favor" once. I thought it was embarrasing at the time, but didn't have the nads to post about it. (*just checked, have 2 misses, 7 correct*)

My most reported is for "judgement" 37-14

Thinking back on Favor, I don't use the story now since to write it accurately, it's "one, sun, cane, heart". I use similar imagery with specialist, Dr., wife, etc. Guess my point is don't be afraid to change up a story even if it worked earlier to account for something new you found out.

I reworked a lot of my "fingers" and "Marine Sentry - person" stories to account my new use of "ET" and "Batman".
