hey, thanks for the info, I think my palms started sweating when I saw this huge orange pillar of expired cards
I mean, I add about 55 cards a day, usually I do most of them in the morning, and maybe some leftovers (about 10 kanji) later in the day, and then in the evening I review the cards I added that day, along with the expired cards from earlier (and usually its about say 40 expired cards) but, last two days I missed out adding new cards completely, but, never the less, I did review expired cards, just because of the fear from those those huge orange columns...and still I got them...
For Nukemarine: 97 expired in the first (1 review) stack, 53 in the second, and, oh great, just one in the third...and there is 50 in the failed stack.
By the way, my average "score" at reviewing is between 70 and 80%. On good days/easy chapters, Ill get 95-100%, on bad days/tough sections, Ill drop as low as 50-55%, but its between 70% and 80% most of the time
and, on a side note, completely off topic, I accustomed myself to sleeping 5 hours a night, from about 1AM to 6AM every day, and maybe a short nap here and there during the day, but sometimes not, and it was great, I felt good during the day and got plenty of time for doing kanji, and other stuff...but now, the weather got colder, the heating started, and the air in my room got sooo incredibly dry, and it totally messes up my sleep and my head and everything, I got headaches and stuff, and I had to sleep much longer to get my rest, that is why I slacked with adding new kanji last two days. I placed a wet towel on my radiator...hoping to get back on track as of tomorrow.
btw, is there a topic for random rambling like this last paragraph? There isnt much people in the real world who can understand the toil of going through heisig, not even among my fellow nihongo students who still consider the write-each-kanji-a-gazillion-times method as the only one that works
