Hi!

Please recommend me the best adcanced scheduling numbers for ANKI!

I use Anki and I find it annoying that the sheduling intervals always change with every new upgrade. So I tried to change the values but I somehow messed it up. I somehow liked a rather short interval, because then I instantly remember the kanji with good repetition rate for very fast reviewing instead of needing lots of time to remember and forgetting some of them. Anyway, I changed some values, and now I'm lost.

Please help me out!

Ralf

Ugh, yes! Especially what he just did with the 0/1 button. It didn't work perfectly before -- he just went about and removed the button instead of trying to fix it.

I think it's better without 1 though.  Most of the time I clicked 1 I'd end up making an error again next time and have to basically mark it wrong twice instead of the one time it would of counted with just 0.

You can just use the previous version: http://ichi2.net/anki/download/anki-0.9.8.7-setup.exe

Please post Anki-related questions to the Anki forums, instead of clogging up this board. You might want to search the archives first, as both the button changes and advanced scheduling defaults have been discussed before.

I've actually been following the discussions lately.

I might take this chance to add that I really love the new ordering of the cards[older first].

ok, I searched the forum for older ANKI posts for 30 minutes in the 60 pages out there but I couldn't find something that tells me which number are recommended to put in the options window "Advanced Scheduling)" (Edit - Deck Properties - Advanced), I changed the numbers and I do not have the default ones, so would be very greatful if somebody could tell me some good default numbers.
Also, using the older version of Anki is not an option, because the synchronisation only works with the new version.
Thanks,
Ralf
