seethe 沸かす わかす
boil 煮込む にこむ

沸かす really means to boil, while 煮込む simmered in marinade as in 煮込み

I always get these two mixed up, due to Heisig's keyword assignments - but I have to admit, it's partly my fault - not using images for these: just using definitions...

Here is another pair:

entice 誘
tempt 唆

When I see tempt, I get the character right, but when I see entice, I often put the character for tempt...
