Hi,
I know the kana are pretty straightforward with regards to pronunciation but I was wondering if there was an audio file avaliable (only a couple fo minutes long) in which a speaker would give all the readings of them and the dipthongs etc just to ensure my pronunciation is correct from the get-go?

This looks decent:

By the way, there are no dipthongs in Japanese.*  A vowel combination like あお is pronounced as two distinct morae; you don't glide from one vowel to the other as in a dipthong.

* according to conventional wisdom; actually not 100% true according to linguists, but close enough.

I had come accross that site before, and many others like it but I wanted one continuous file, if I have to then I will download each clip and string them together but I was asking to see if this could be avoided.

About the dipthong thing, I was only reffering to them as such as I believe Heisig does in his Kana book, wasn't sure how esle to explain but thanks for the notification.
