I recently looked at some of the JLPT tests and I realize that, while I can understand a lot of grammar points, I very often don't know which verb or adjective forms to use with those grammar points. I've heard that it would help me in eliminating answers on the JLPT if I knew forms like that, and of course it would help my general Japanese aptitude tremendously.
My current plan is to drill it just like anything else, but do it in an extremely abbreviated way. There's only 191 grammar points in my grammar prep book for JLPT2. SRS'ing it shouldn't be that difficult, but I just wanted to check in here to see if anyone else had a better solution.
Here is a sample card from my deck:
Side 1: ~あげく(に)
Side 2: after much time...
Side 3: plain past, する nouns need の
Side 2 is essentially a throwaway side that only differentiates one grammar point from another. I'm not actually testing it like that, and so the specific accuracy of the meaning is only mildly important. I already know what the grammar points mean for the most part, and so it's side 3 that I really need to learn.
Does this seem like a good idea?
