I'm working on typing out the setences from Barron's Japanese Grammar. It's a small book, so it shan't take too long, I presume. I'm putting it online in case anyone else would like it: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= … amp;hl=en. If you wish to contribute, that's awesome, but I'm not asking anyone to (but I'd prefer it if you did, obviously). So far I've typed out about half of verbs but I haven't yet added the kanji-fied sentences. If you wish to view it, please contact me with your email.

P.S If I happen to have messed up the document's settings somewhere, please tell me as I haven't done this before.

EDIT: Okay, there's a bunch of you that have joined. If you want to help, grab any non-taken section which has example sentences available. The sections are usually quite short, so it shouldn't be too much trouble. Just type up the kana if you don't know the kanji-- that can be done later.

I get this Error Message -

We're sorry.

This spreadsheet isn't published.

Find out more at the Google Docs Help Center.

Right. Anyone point me towards where to change that? I can't find it anywhere, but I bet it's under my nose. All I can find is to publish it for everyone to view.

Just post the same link that you use when you go to edit or view the spreadsheet normally. That link should work for everyone, though it will present them with a message saying that they must contact you for permission to view it.

Yea it works, but I would like to know how exactly are you mining the sentences from that book...? (I see lots and lots of romaji <_<)

Alright, invited all that emailed me.

Typing it all up in kana first. Then I plan to add in the words in kanji that I know.

Edit: I'm starting to think I should have split this up a bit more. Thoughts? At the moment verbs is steadily getting veerrryyy large.

Edit: Started moving things across.

If you want to help, grab any empty section which has example sentences available. The sections are usually quite short, so it shouldn't be too much trouble. Just type up the kana if you don't know the kanji-- that can be done later. First post has been updated to reflect this.

This was actually the first book I ever bought on Japanese, and I wouldn't mind helping out a bit. But the edition I have is this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Japanese-Grammar- … 0812046439

Does that make a differenence? I don't know if any changes where made to this newer edition or if it was just a reprint:

I don't know, actually. Perhaps grab a section and anything different could be ironed out in the proofread? It would be great if you could help out.

I've found the book out, so if I can get the time tomorrow I'll try to enter a section.
