Children's Stories Podcast (where do I find?)

So I'm a lower-intermediat-ish level student living outside Japan. I really need more  listening comprehension practice. But the News, and material aimed at grown-ups in general, just goes over my head. Even Anime and stuff written for older kids and "tweens" just goes over my head. I'm not there yet

What I'd really like is to listen to stories for kids aged between 4 and 6. Simple stories for younger children read kind of slowly. Preferably a podcast - something audio-only - so I can take it with me on my iPod.

Does anyone know where I could find something like this?

Thanks!

There is pimsleur. Pimsleur is rock solid, but is boring.
Also there is japanesepod101. I really apreciate it.

You can find a few children stories sprinkled here.  It's a big database of Japanese audiobooks complete with transcipts and translations
